Our Story

Here at Family Air Tours and The Hook Up Fly Shop we specialize in outdoor adventures in Ketchikan Alaska. In 2001 Dave asked his late wife Alice if we could go into business for themselves in a one plane/one pilot air taxi (they had just bought a house so they had lots of free cash). For some reason she said yes and that's how we got here. In 2023 Jim Davis joined the company to fly our recently added deHavilland Beaver N6464P. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years now, and find that it was a great decision, even though we still haven't found anyone to do all the work yet.

OUR PLANES

All of our flights are flown in a Cessna 185 or a DeHavilland Beaver, and each seat is a window seat with equally stunning views from all sides. All passengers are provided with a noise cancelling headset that enables your pilot to narrate your flight and answer any questions you may have.
